Silver Turns 40

Besides the physical gold and silver that I have stashed away and guarded by a Hoff-eating reptile (see previous post), Silver Standard Resources (Stock Symbol: SSRI) is the only precious metal stock in the portfolio. It's been there for a while, but yesterday I actual put a stop in at a couple of percentage points below the current price. Round numbers on the spot price have that affect on me (20, 30, 40).



I have little doubt that silver will visit higher, round numbers in the future but someone else can ride the retracements down into the low 30's.
