Since the war in Afghanistan may continue through 2014 or longer, and our Khaki clad North Korean brothers need some attention, I have decided to re-check the status of my Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) portfolio for just such occasions. The list of 'troops' is a long one, so I will keep the review short and limit it to a list of battle hardened 'mercenaries' that would complete the sentence, "War is ____!" with the word "profitable".

The recent artillery swap between North and South Korea was probably nothing more than Kim Jong-il leaning on the weapons console again, and no one had the cojones to tell him to lean in another direction.

That's almost as bad as a society that accepts a two party political system force fed by 500 channels of nothing to watch. Hey, who knows, maybe the Kindle will stimulate an interest in the ancient art of reading, but I digress.

Anyway, gotta hurry. Must get back to important issues like voting for my favorite Dancing with the Stars couple.
