Keep you friends close and your Bushmasters closer.
~Sigmund B. Cheetum
It may seem strange, but the monkeys have a fairly good
relationship with the Bushmasters in this part of the jungle.
That's the ticket.
I'm not sure why exactly.
I guess the Bushmasters do their best work just blending in with the
scenery... until that scenery suddenly sinks it's fangs into your tail. While there is peace between monkey and
snake, I always keep one eye on those "poisonous ropes".
It reminds me of the charts that track the percentage of
stocks that are over their 50 and 200 day moving average. Seems innocuous enough, at first glance.
Even so, I combine this data with a lot of other information, just as I do
with market sentiment, for example. Neither one tells much by itself (even when one or both are in over-bought or over-sold territory) but they
are useful for confirming data from other sources, and are better used as a
roadmap regarding general market conditions. It's easy to forget general market conditions when focused on one sector or one stock.
The four-year charts of
the
percentage of stocks that are over their 50 and 200 day moving average,
used in tandem, always remind me where the market is, not necessarily where it
is going, but just like walking through the tall grass or sticking your paw
under a rock, keeping one eye on the Bushmaster is always good advice.
Hmmm, I know the 2nd
Amendment guarantees the rights of the monkeys to keep and bear snakes,
but honestly, who would want to?
