I adjusted the 2009 gains for the CMI 2.0 from the last post. The gain for that year was 128.2%, not 122.4%. Hey, I'll milk that one until the wildabeasts come home.
Also, if you were doing the compounding math you may have thought that you would need double the trade amount to jump from the QID to the QLD in the same day, and vice versa due to the T+3 rule. (You can't trade with unsettled funds). This is true, but in the majority of trades, the final outcome would not vary that much even if you waited three days to make the next trade. You will see this more clearly when I post historical data for "number of days in trade'.
As for the current QLD trade, onward and upward. As my good friend Jesse Livermore used to say through the words of Edwin Lefevre...
